A Designer's War

A Designer's War is a two-player board game where each player picks one of two game titles to ship and tries to defeat the other in gaining popularity around the board. I made this game in my first sophomore semester for a strategic/tactical board game assignment. This is a metaphor for the dynamic between triple A studios and indie studios that was largely a result of me expressing my frustration with how obtuse I'd felt both sides were being at this time. Even now, there's a lot of refusal to cooperate and learn from each other, although the conflict has been lessening with consoles declining in popularity versus smaller smartphone-type games.
